EVENT DAY GUIDE
Rally your community that changes lives. From clothing to hygiene supplies, every contribution provides tangible help and hope.
You can do either! Many people find it fun and motivating to gather a team of friends, family, or coworkers – but you’re also welcome to host a fundraiser on your own.
It’s up to you! From community BBQs, marathons, and lemonade stands to bake sales or creative challenges – choose something that excites you and fits your community. Download our Community Fundraising Toolkit here.
Once you have an idea, simply click the “Register Your Event”. You’ll be able to share your vision with us so we can support you with resources and answer any questions.
After connecting with us and registering your event, you can start inviting people to participate and begin raising funds to support The Mustard Seed’s work.
No, every dollar makes a difference! We’ll celebrate your efforts no matter the size of your fundraiser.
Once your fundraiser is registered, you can use our online CanadaHelps-Peer to-Peer Fundraising. You can also collect cash/cheque donations.
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) fundraising lets you raise money by inviting your friends, family, and network to
donate
to
a cause you care about. Instead of donating alone, you become an ambassador and fundraiser for the
charity.
